Vocational Education Program
1999 inception year of BDP, Vocational Education Program (VEP) was formed to assist the most vulnerable group of the society. As the nation is recognizing the fact that Vocational Education is the key/vital tool for socioeconomic development for Bangladesh, VEP is working towards this approach in building the nation. Complementing on Bangladesh attempt to attain middle income economy status by 2024 in the world map for which VEP have taken several measures to improve the quality of lives in the urban and rural communities through free technical education. VEP since its inception have been closely working hand in hand with local communities (beneficiaries) to increase the throughput efficiency and also ensuring to enhance & promote full female participation in every sector of the industry. VEP develops its own efficient/cost-effective/equitable training systems to provide free life based skills/technical education.
Electrical Trade
Electrical trade is one of the first trade’s at VEP inception year in BDP. This trade is an approach for school dropout students from grade-8 and onwards, age ranging from 16 years & up (non-formal education approach) to bring them back to society through various economic engagements. Since the inception we have proudly graduated 285 school dropout students from this section who are presently actively engaged in wage earning activities in relevant fields/industry. BDP VEP graduates also ventured out into business opportunities’ due to their wealth of industry experience over the years, some graduates are also bringing in foreign remittance to the nation's economy by employing themselves at overseas job market mainly in Arab/Gulf countries. 1. Basic House Wiring.

Criteria/Timing.
Graduating 15 students yearly. Morning shift 8:am - 4:pm. Male students with one year compulsary training on basic electrical course. Students can apply who have completed grade:8 school certificate (P.S.C minimum / J.S.C) and also who are unemployed.
Graduating.
Upon course completion graduates recieves graduation certificate.
Sewing Trade
BDP VEP Sewing and Handicrafts trade section is one of the first trade’s at BDP VEP inception year. This trade approaches grade five school graduates(girls)and also mothers / distressed women, age ranging from 13 years & up (non-formal education approach) to give them the edge to be engaged into various economic activities and thus help their family. Through this trade women’s are uplifted by engaging themselves in ever demanding handicrafts and sewing techniques. Since the inception we have proudly graduated 600 students (Girls and Mothers) from this section who are actively engaged in wage earning activities in relevant fields/industry. BDP Sewing graduates also ventured into sewing business opportunities’ due to wealth of industry experience and also some even own their own shop now. Graduating 30 - 60 students yearly. Morning / Afternoon shifts 9:am - 4:pm. Female students with one year compulsary training on Sewing & Handicrafts course. Students can apply who have completed grade:5 school certificate (P.S.C minimum) and also female/mothers who are unemployed.
Graduating.
Upon course completion graduates recieves graduation certificate.
Computer and Information
Since 2004 Computer and Information trade have been serving the community through providing free computer education, with over 420 graduates. Complementing on Digital Bangladesh this trade have been catering the needs of the students (beneficiaries) demand, equipping with skills which thus placing them in the forefront of the local job market. This trade mainly focuses on high school and college dropouts, age ranging from 16 - 18 years & above (non-formal education approach) to bring them back to society through various economic engagements. From 2020 we have introduced new courses such as WEB DEISGN & NETWOKING to complement national policy in skilled human resource & capacity building. BDP Computer & Information trade graduates also ventured into business opportunities’ due to their wealth of industry experience and also some even own their own shop now in local markets'. 1. Basic Computer Hardware (Maintenance & Troubleshooting/Email & Browsing).
2. Microsoft office Suite (Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Access).
3. Desktop Publishing (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator).
4. Web Design Front End (HTML/CSS/JS/Mysql).
5. Networking (Design & Implementation/LAN/Server setup).
Criteria/Timing.
Graduating 30 - 60 (15 - 30 male, 15 - 30 female) students yearly. Morning and afternoon shift 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday - Thursday. Male and female students with one (1) year minimum compulsary training on basic computer and ICT course. Students can apply who have completed H.S.C school certificate exam (S.S.C minimum) and also who are unemployed.
Graduating.
Upon course completion graduates recieves graduation certificate.
Auto - Mechanics
Since 2004 Auto-Mechanics trade have been serving the community through providing technical education, with over 210 graduates. Complementing on Argo Rich Bangladesh this trade have been catering the needs of the students (beneficiaries) demand, equipping with skills which thus placing them in the forefront of the local job market. This trade mainly focuses on high school and college dropouts, age ranging from 16years years & up (non-formal education approach) to bring them back to society through various economic engagements. BDP Auto-Mechanics graduates also ventured into business opportunities’ due to wealth of industry experience and also some even own their own shop now in local markets' fixing from motorbikes to agricultural pump.
