Basic Development Partners (BDP) working on children’s primary education since 1992. At that very moment, government primary schools were insufficient, especially in remote villages. BDP established a few primary schools in 5 districts. They are Jamalpur, Barishal, Gazipur, Netrokona, and slum areas in Mirpur, Dhaka. Presently, education is the top priority and the government increased much allocation of budget to primary education but still, there are some villages in our working areas where public schools are not sufficient and on the other hand, parent do not encourage their daughters to go to schools which are fur distance from their house because of social security.
