I was a teacher at the Japan Oral School for the Deaf, and Dr Malakar came to know about it. She invited me to Bangladesh to see the Hear Program, I was excited and glad. First, of course, I struggled with language, moreover, the Barisal dialect was quite difficult for me......

BDP established a few primary schools in 5 districts. They are Jamalpur, Barishal, Gazipur, Netrokona, and slum areas in Mirpur, Dhaka. Presently, education is the top priority and the government increased much allocation of budget to primary education but still, there are some villages in our working areas where public schools are not sufficient and on the other hand, parent do not encourage their daughters to go to schools which are fur distance from their house because of social security.
